doing this job?
Breath-stopping capture, especially in the second one, but they must go together in the telling. The color shows it was a beautiful day, and the sound track makes it a complete well rounded work of art.
Thanks.

6. Couldn't do that job if my life depended on it. |

I took about a dozen shots of him from various angles. I was only carrying the 35mm so I had to keep repositioning myself. After a few minutes he noticed that I was there and gave me a friendly wave.:)

Those are literally breathtaking...
Especially the second one.
But maybe that's just because the first one set me up so damn well...
Wow. You really have the eye...
Thank you!

It was really a can't-miss situation. What with the window washer's everyday heroics and the iconic building, all I had to do was show up!

I'm always glad to share a little George Formby with people. This seemed like a good opportunity.

love the addition of the reflections in the second one.
I have to say someone needs to think of a more automated way to clean those windows!!
No new technology in this field for........decades (??) or CENTURIES!
It's a world of work. ;)

9. It amazes me that people do this job! |
|
I've always wondered how much they get paid. One would hope they get paid well, but I wouldn't be shocked to find that they don't.
