1. Same to you, Sweetie.
Hopefully we'll be ringing in '09 knowing that we'll have a good president in the White House in three weeks.

We must all get together sometime this year.

:hi:

Thanks for the great photos.

We just got home for dinner, it's just starting to snow and we're waiting for the ball to start coming down. It's so sad seeing Dick Clark.

2. I saw Carson
but I didn't see Dick. I think I'm glad of it, too.

 :loveya:, too.

One of my local PBS stations is playing old Guy Lombardo programs. :)

3. We've got the Twilight Zone marathon on now
and tomorrow will be non-stop football, although I'll probably only watch the Michigan game.

I love seeing who will show up on these old TZ shows -- Elizabeth Montgomery and Charles Bronson are both in the one that's on now.

all!!!! Maybe with that Dem. Pres. DU will have an Inaugural Ball of their own for us all to have a big meet up. Wonder if they would allow forum tables.

5. How cool would that be!
Happy New Year to you and Terry and the zoo crew, CC.

We could at least have a virtual inaugural here on DU.

6. Amen to all of that
and Happy New Year to you too doll!!! Happy New Year KOEB.
I had real Russian vodka (served by real Russians) bouillabaise, poached pears, peppermint bark, and some bubbly with friends to ring in the new one. Oh and some B-12 just now to make sure tomorrow doesn't bring too bad a hangover. Plus there were dachtshund and Weimereiner puppies at the party, just too adorable for words. Those velvety ears, sensational.

15. Just went to a New Year's Day party with another adorable puppy
This breed is called a Redbone Raccoon Hound, kind of looked like a cross between an Irish Setter and a Weimereiner. Beautiful dog, so sweet I wanted to take her home with me, named Cindy Lou.

Very impressed with your Russian doll.

12. I've been working with the offspring on her Cooper Union home test
Oy, and working away for a very busy new year of shows, so yes, I've been practically a hermit. It felt so great to get out and be with friends last night.

I am determined to talk to you this week. Thursday my kids go back to school, so I can give you a buzz. What's a good time?

Happy New Year Sha-sha!!!

13. Anytime is good
I always have my cell on at work, and I don't expect to get very busy at work until after this week. It's still going to be slow.

7. Same to all of you, sweeties.
Wish I went to parties like Bun-Bun goes to!

There's one thing I'm happy about now and that is that no matter what happens, this year, BUSH IS OUT!!!!!!!!!

I'll try not to think of anything else for the time being.

Love to you all!

11. I'll take a new DEMOCRATIC president, thanks!
:hi:

I don't just want a new president, I want a Democratic one. :)

Happy New Year everyone! As for getting together, maybe we could all make plans to go to Netroot Nation or something? Or another weekend in NYC? (just not in February,'k?)

:toast:

I watched some of the TZ marathon, too!

14. In addition to Netroots
I'm planning to go to DC for Take Back America, which is from March 17-19. There's also another big march on March 15, so if anyone is going to that, I'm going to see if I can swing going in a couple of days earlier and combine the two things. Let's see if we can get a group to DC for that -- it may be easier than getting everyone to go to Texas in July.

and maybe I'm tempting fate, but I took that as a given.

Happy New Year, K! :loveya:

No, NYC in February was not our smartest plan to date. :hi:
