KOEB Puppet Theatre: A Man With His Priorities in Order
(opening of KOEB Puppet Theatre)

REV. CHEESEHEAD PUPPET: Oh wow! Countdown is on tonight, and does Keith ever have a story to tell!

WOLVERINE DG PUPPET: Yeah! Can you believe that pinheaded Chimp nominated Bolton after all? Figures!

CRISPINI PUPPET: Yeah, but that's OK--because we know Keith is gonna go at him with both guns blazin'!

CC PUPPET WITH ALL PET PUPPETS: Yeah! He's gonna come out tonight from the top and just LET HIM HAVE IT!

CLARK 2008 PUPPET: Yeah! Even I told my boyfriend to stay home tonight, because I'm so excited! I just can't miss it when Keith goes for the jugular!

EVERYONE: He's our man! He's THE man! KEITH! KEITH! KEITH!

BERRYBUSH PUPPET: Ssh, the show's about to start! Keith's doing his standup!

TV PUPPET WITH KEITH PUPPET INSIDE: A story tonight that will horrify and disgust you! If you are half as revolted as I am, you will not want to miss our lead story tonight!

EVERYONE: See! Here he goes! Grab the popcorn, this is gonna be GREAT!

KEITH PUPPET ON TV: ...Rafael Palmiero, TESTING POSITIVE FOR STEROIDS!!!!

EVERYONE (collapsing): AUGGGHHHHHHHHH!

(closing of KOEB Puppet Theatre)

1. Absolutely hilarious!
Berry, ya know what? You're more entertaining than the actual show!

Seriously...have you ever considered writing as a profession?

3. Muff...uh, thanks, but I thought I already told you--
I've been a professional writer for 15 years now...

Thanks for the compliments, though.

5. Really? That's terrific!
You may very well have told me, but I'm flying high on cold medicine, fighting off a nasty summer cold.

What type of writing do you do, if you don't mind my asking?

7. I would rather not go into specifics.
Suffice it to say, it ain't comedy. I'd have to move to LA for that (or write for SNL) and I don't want to have to move to LA. Don't want to have to live there.

8. Okay, I respect your privacy.
Hope I didn't offend you.

I totally understand about the NYC/LA bit. There's no way I could live in LA. Too hot, too flaky, and not diverse enough of an arts scene. I love NYC because there's so much to do in so many areas, and it's always changing!

(You could so write comedy if you chose to, though. Your wit is amazing!)

9. Thanks, and no, I'm not offended.
I could live in NYC much more easily than LA. But I don't live in either.

11. Funny, that's the same opinion I have
only I add to the list of things I'd rather not deal with earthquakes, fires and mudslides. And, oh yeah, hurricanes, but that's Florida.

2. Objection!
I would not say "Pinhead Chimp." I'd say something, well, a bit more, um, unladylike in referencing shrubbie. ;) Let's just say you'd need more than a truckload of soap to wash my mouth out.....

4. Hold it there, Nancy Grace. ;-)
(LOL, I only called you that because you titled your post "Objection!")

You'll have to forgive me for underestimating your ability to curse like a drunken sailor. :-) Believe me, right now you don't want to hear the blue streak I feel like using...

6. How could you think I was Nancy Grace?
I said "Objection" not "You're all guilty!" ;)
