KOEB 8/18/05: Cindy may be leaving (for now), but Keith's not.

"Hi there, good-lookin'...Keith here. You know, I was just hangin' out in the city today, havin' a smoke, when all of a sudden it occurred to me...

"BWAHAHAHAHA! I really had you guys going there for a while, didn't I? Not to worry! This is an OLD photo! You will never see its like again! THIS is more like me tonight...

"Here I am, smoke-free (but admittedly slightly grayer), ready to BRING YOU THE WORLD!! Here it is...catch!!"

2. Hello, people!
Why is the sentencing "dramatic" Nora? Why is everything on this stupid channel "dramatic"? Is Rita tarting up the place a bit?

KO: :loveya::loveya: And you look great!

3. Professor Jack Levin
Edited on Thu Aug-18-05 07:12 PM by Patsy Stone
is the child that Captain Kangaroo and Gene Shalit never had.

I didn't find that statement from Rader at all sincere. I, too, was surprised to hear him give a "shout out" to the woman who cut his hair. Wow. The only way this sentencing would have been "dramatic" is if they decided to invoke the death penalty retroactively -- which is un-constitutional.

I don't understand why we all have to sit through hours of footage of this animal. We all knew he'd be convicted and sentenced to at least life in prison.

Where's the news here? Isn't this just rubbernecking?

and all the little people he murdered...some of them littler than others.

*sigh* At least Keith treated him with the proper air of revulsion and disgust.

Weird that the guest's voice was so off sync.

And every time he quotes the Shakespeare thing about troubles coming not like single spies, but in battalions, CHUG.

47. Yes he plead no contest to 4 ethics charges .....
..... he forgot about all his golf, dinners, sporting events, and vacations
paid for by repug big wigs.

He got a $4,000.00 fine and was made to apologize to the state. The
boy has made ALL STATE EMPLOYEES take ethics training.

He only reported his gifts after the Toledo Blade uncovered his
involvement and his lawyer did a "see what a good guy he is."

Funny one of his golf buddies was coingate's Tom Noe whose wife
was head of the Lucas County BOE ..... The city of Toledo had a
39% voter turn out but the repub suburbs had 85 to 99.7% voter
turn outs. The city had 2 to 10 hour waits to vote too.

Taft is the tip of the Iceberg ..... kickbacks, pay offs, money laundering,
and stolen elections.

31. I'm okay I guess
I've had two interviews for different jobs recently. I'm waiting to hear on one and the other was a bust as they only wanted to pay $8.00hr w/no benefits. I just couldn't afford that especially with gas prices at $2.59 and climbing.

I've applied with some other companies, but I'm just about ready to fall apart as the end of the month is almost here and I'm broke. I'm not sure what will happen if I don't get work very quickly. I don't sleep well anymore and I've been sick to my stomach for days now.

I've been praying for a miracle. Just hope it comes soon.

60. Unfortunately, she is getting better ratings than Keith.
And so is Joe "Dead Intern" Scarborough, whose ratings have gone through the roof ever since he decided to make his the "Honeymooner Overboard" show.

Scaryborough is bagging over 400,000 a night, Rita over 300,000. Keith...I don't think he's been able to break 250,000 all week.

I'm beginning to wonder if he really HAS taken too many vacations, to the point where people don't even tune in to see that he's on. They just turn on the TV on Monday, see he's out, and assume it's another vacation week. :-(
