3. You probably don't have the right player for the stream.
Looks like you have to have Windows Media Player 9. Check here for links:

4. RATS!!!
We have a firewall, and it won't let me download it.

I did read on another board that he was dissing MSNBC, said that he didn't have a tenth of O'Reilly's audience, and that he couldn't be objective about Joe Torre because he was a personal friend, and had supported him during his tumor scare. (This doesn't surprise me; I've always liked Joe Torre).

All in all...this isn't looking good. I hope I'm wrong...

5. Well, he was just being funny about the MSNBC stuff.
The whole thing was kind of in the context of a joke, with him and DP kidding around. It was all in good fun.

6. Glad to hear that!
Hopefully, with Joe Scarborough possibly jumping ship, they'll want to hold on to what hosts they have. (Though I don't trust Rick Kaplan as far as I can throw him!)

7. Well, he was being funny about Bristol being "godforsaken," too. :-(
The MSNBC brass does not have much of a sense of humor, either, from what I can see. :scared:

Honest to God. I sat there in my cubicle today listening with the earbuds on and it was all I could do not to fold in half and groan out loud (I was actually leaning over my desk, if not hiding under it...). I thought "Oh no! Here Keith goes again, dissing another employer! And just when he got out of hot water LAST week! Open mouth, insert size-14 foot!"

Background, for those who have not heard it yet: Apparently NFL player Randy Moss admitted to Bryant Gumbel on his HBO "Real Sports" show (on an as-yet-unaired episode) that he had and does smoke marijuana "every blue moon," so Keith and Dan were discussing this news. (Keith: "'Every blue moon.' That's a *Viagra* side effect. That's an entirely different drug we're talking about now.") In response to this, Moss's agent had accused HBO of "couching" these remarks "in a manner that is confusing and leaves room for negative interpretation" and doing it "in an attempt to promote their dying network."

In response to THAT statement, amongst many other things, Keith said it was ridiculous to call HBO a "dying network." At first, it was as a joke: apparently Dan had mentioned in the previous hour that he too had once used pot. (I wasn't listening, I confess. More about Keith's true confession in that department later. In any case, it was not all that salacious.) Keith teased him that the new #5 story on Countdown tonight was going to be Dan's pot confession, that he would have experts on to talk about Dan, and that of course Keith would no doubt be accused of doing this in an an attempt to promote his "dying network."

Dan agreed that HBO was just trying to find a way to promote their show, and it worked, but that it was wrong for the agent to call HBO "a dying network." To which Keith said, "Yeah--we don't need to start talking about dying cable television networks! I know that!...Welcome to MY world, pal!" To which Dan said (jokingly) "You've KILLED networks before!" To which Keith said "Yeah, but I got the money!" And (doing a bad Lloyd Bentsen): "Dying networks! I KNOW dying networks! And you're not a dying network!"

I just thought: "Uh-oh. Keith must have just gotten the latest MSNBC email telling him the Friday doughnut ration has been decreased to a one-doughnut-per-person limit as a cost-cutting measure...or that his wastebasket is only going to be emptied from now on on alternate days...or something. So what does he do but get on air and call his employer 'a dying network'! That's our Keith!"

Finally, Keith's immortable quotable on the whole Randy situation:
"A rolling Moss gathers; he's stoned."
