Guess what I'm getting for Christmas.
A new septic system. Yep, my father is helping me get a new septic system. Yahoo.:woohoo: Owning a house is such a joy.

1. Hey, it's like they say on South Park...
"Nothing says 'Christmas' like Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo!"

...or, uh, maybe not. :-(

And to think my mother used to tell the story over and over again of the time she got underpants for Christmas and thought THAT was the worst. gift. ever.

Shit happens. And it's nice when it doesn't take up permanent residence. ;-) A "blingier" present wouldn't be appreciated that much if your place smelled like Ye Olde Outhouse. :7 Take this from someone who remembers what it was like when the septic tank backed up in the middle of the night during a rainstorm 30 years ago.

6. Not to that point yet!
Mainly because it's overflowing thru a crack in it's side and stinking up the neighborhood. I don't even have a proper septic system, just a cesspit which was installed in 1951 and is probably now illegal!:hurts:

4. That won't keep you from NYC, will it?
Although it may sound shitty (pun intended, of course :P), it's rather practical. Besides, there's still Mom and the rest of the family, isn't there?

And, it's one less thing to worry about.
Men are practical that way.
