:loveya::loveya:

They said on Hardball that Rupert fancies himself a kingmaker and courted Tony Blair (back in the day) in Britain. Hi, Shar!

ed: Craig just said that too. He's an opportunist, pure and simple.

17. Huh?
What about her? Did I miss something? I'm really looking forward to Bill Maher this week -- she and Richard Clarke are going to be on.

I just went into my daughter's room and watched Chris sing Elvis. What a great job! He's got to win.

She was the last guest on Hardball. Chris was talking to her. So wonderful.

And that she'll win. Is that spin? I think so. Have I missed something, or is she so polarizing among Dems (not to mention Repubs.), she can't win?

6. Why the hell do all the pundits think Hillary's got this
Edited on Tue May-09-06 07:11 PM by Clark2008
nomination locked up?

Don't they read history?

I love Craig, but, come on! This time during the 2004 election cycle had JoeMentum as being the Democratic nominee and we saw that went over like a lead balloon (or zeppelin, if you so choose).

:grr:

I'm so tired of being told who my nominee will be!

On edit: In 2002, the media was ALREADY trying to pick Hillary. Leiberman was No. 2 and Kerry No. 3.

http://archives.cnn.com/2002/ALLPOLITICS/12/21/hillary.poll/

With Al Gore now out of the race, New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton would be the top choice of Democrats for the 2004 presidential nomination if she chooses to run, according to a new CNN/Time magazine poll.

When registered Democrats were asked whom they would support in a field that included the New York senator and former first lady, 30 percent picked Clinton, compared with 13 percent each for Sen. Joe Lieberman of Connecticut and Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts.

No other potential candidate broke out of single digits, while 14 percent said they were unsure.

Maybe it's a Repug plot to derail the Dems early by telling everyone who their candidate will be: the one they consider "The Unelectable One."

Otherwise, it's a happy night! Keith's wearing my favorite suit combination, Craig Crawford's back and Ken Silverstein is hot!! :loveya:

Oh, and Keith's doing Countdown's first episode of "Fact or Fiction" with Bill-O!!! :bounce:

I just saw a work e-mail about a finalist presentation I might have to go to in Houston on the morning of the 23rd. I'd have to fly in on Monday the 22nd. Yech! Texas in late May is not my idea of a fun place to be.

26. You know - they keep citing these media polls of
"likely" Democratic voters, which really doesn't mean spit.

Around the Democratic web sites and boards - the CERTAIN Democratic PRIMARY voters - Hillary's just a blip. She doesn't even make it out of the teens, does she?

Seriously, I think the media is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy off on this one. I don't think they get out of their DC bubbles too often.

85. Speaking of going to Miami
if we get funding for it, I'll be able to go to Fla-la-la (namely Miami) for KOEB mini-meetups , er professional conferences. Use it or lose it money, dontcha know.

70. I had a commercial with Paul Michael Glaser
telling me about credit counseling. And, is that another drug whose name sounds like a superhero? :)

82. Actually, if I were a guy, I wouldn't want anything with the word "dart"
in it used on MY prostate. Or anywhere in the general, ah, area.

67. Drive by
A robot EDV .... charge up her batteries and she will snark you and then
go out for drinks!

Bill O'Rielly lying .... no way :sarcasm: My best Luffa Boy lie, "I know that 10,000 of
our troops have been saved because of info we got from being tough on the terrorists
@ Gitmo." ...... ah, no the figure pulled out of his ass ..... a large # of the people @
Gitmo are from our Afgahan allies ... the war loads ..... we were paying $5,000 per head
for terrorists so the war lords just went and picked up people and got paid.

BTW Just how much of the $25 million $ contract that the limo company got from
Homeland Security was for male & female hookers.

A TOM CRUISE FREE SHOW!

81. Aw, you just wish you had one of your own, is all!
Cracked me up when Keith said it's obvious these kids haven't seen Blade Runner!

Of course Bill pulls figures out of his ass. After all, that's where you-know-what comes from...

Well, it was ALMOST a Tom Cruise-free show. Loved Keith's snark about how maybe someone should clue in the folks in Aberdeen about the other meaning of the word "cruise."
