New York Times: "MSNBC's Star Carves Anti-Fox Niche"
Edited on Tue Jul-11-06 06:29 AM by BerryBush
Hmmm. If the reason KO cut out early last night was to give this interview, he's forgiven:

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/07/11/arts/television/11keit.html?pagewanted=1&_r=2

He is either the leading man of MSNBC or its leading agent provocateur, but Keith Olbermann has no problem embracing either role.

“You can’t spell momentum without Olbermann — or something like that,” he said in a telephone interview, with a typical sprinkle of wry in his voice.

The momentum reference related to MSNBC’s recent aggressive positioning of the program “Countdown With Keith Olbermann” as the centerpiece of this all-news cable network’s latest effort to become more competitive with Fox News Channel and CNN.

Ooh, and the photo is sooooo pretty. :loveya:

on edit: One word: "Suspenders."

2. Maybe
But the outfit he's wearing in the photo was from last Thursday. I hate that tie and shirt combo. But I looove the Baby Stewie doll.

:loveya:

Nice article!

3. yes..
that tie does not go with that shirt. Either a) a solid shirt with that tie or b) that shirt with a solid tie would be better. IMO, YMMV of course.

5. What you can't see is
that it's the GSB suit. The tie goes (okay, mostly) with the suit.

:hi:, T!

6. Fabulous article !
..and photo. Did you see it on the Home Page?

Note to Berry: Post fab Keith articles in GD and cross post them here :hi:

For some reason I learned that with my John Edwards and Jim Webb (Virginia forum) articles. Nothing moves in my favorite forums, but popular articles make it to the Greatest page in GD, sometimes, the home page....just trying to reach more DU eyes!

8. OK, will do from now on. I put it in Media this time.
Didn't want to be accused of posting it in the wrong place.

Anyway, I don't care whether the tie and shirt and suit all go in THIS picture. I still find it utter Yummy on a Stick. :loveya:
