How to put a stop to this "new Osama/Zarqawi videotape" malarchy

Chimpy finds his approval ratings in an even bigger toilet, and sure enough, out comes the Videotape Of Terra. Yet again, and yet again, all the cable news whores go into a scare-the-masses panic.

It's already been documented that Zarqawi is largely a product of U.S. psyops. What's the situation with Osama? Nobody knows for sure; depending on how much of a tinfoil hat you wear, the "videos" from "Osama" may or may not be connected in some way to people in the United States.

But there's a reasonably easy way to stop this madness once and for all. There are plenty of U.S. companies (Industrial Light & Magic, anyone?) that have the technical capability to create a "video" of "Osama" -- or, for that matter any other public figure. It's time for someone to make an "Osama video" and put it out there and watch the panic begin, only to reveal a couple of days later that it's a total fake. Notice how all these "videos" are low-quality? You don't even need high-quality footage of Osama. You could do it with what's already out there. Don't make it absurd -- make it believable. All the better when the deception is revealed.

Or, for added Republican shock value, why not create a "video" of "Ronald Reagan" talking about current events? Put that out there and watch the spinning begin.

What do we gain? We show the American people that videos are no longer trustworthy. And, if you're of the mind that Osama really is still out there threatening to blow us all up, this would effectively neutralize any future Osama videos, since people would more visibly doubt the authenticity of the videos.
