Be Cautious Before Applauding Republicans Of Power That Turn On Shrubby. |
|
Up until now I would applaud them as well, but only because on the rare occasions that happened I could have at least some level of confidence that the sentiment was somewhat genuine. But not anymore.
I believe the electoral season has begun, and many repubs (and more in the future) are aware that they are going to HAVE to start acting like they are against shrubby in order to have a chance in November. But we must call bullshit rather than applaud, because there is one important thing now we must remember: We do not need prominent republicans to turn on * , we need the everyday public to turn on prominent republicans.
They are going to turn on him falsely to further their agenda of retaining power, and we must stop that from happening. Each time one of them comes out we should not applaud, but instead do whatever we can to turn it back around into them being * supporters.
Instead of responding with "so and so is even against shrubby now", the response should be along the lines of "well so and so can lie and say they are against shrubby all they want for their selfish political gain, but the only reason we're in such a mess to begin with is because of their 100% support of * . If only they had been against *'s policies when logic deemed they should be, instead of only when it was politically convenient for them, maybe things wouldn't be such a nightmare" etc...
That is how I'm going to react to them turning, rather than applause, because we all know it is coming. The backlash on * from his own party is coming, but only as a twisted ruse to retain power. Don't forget that. We must turn the tables on them and remind the public constantly that they are all one and the same.

2. You are absolutely right. They are trying to save their own ass and that |
|
is the only reason why they are bucking up. If they retain their seats it will be back to business as usual. Fuck the country over as fast as possible.

We've got the upper hand now, I don't see any reason to be applauding fair weather fans.

On Ed Schultz today a Repub male caller apologized for voting for Bush and said he now realizes that Kerry was the one telling the truth.
If we had a real media, people would have been able to see it earlier.

8. Besides, they only turn on him "publicly" to save their own skin. |
|
Behind closed doors they still support him and his policies.

Thanks friend.
I'm not sure what disagreements we may have had but just know I'm sure there are a ton of things we probably would agree on. Hell, we're both here, so there are many things right there we must share based on that alone. :)
cheers to you as well mate. :toast:

11. REPUBLICANS placed their Glorious Beloved Commander |
|
Up on a pedestal and built a wall around him, to protect him from the consequences of the truth about his administration. Republicans mocked, attacked, smeared, back stabbed, and spewed their lying talking points to further Bush's Imperial Presidency. Every damn Republican should be chained to their Glorious Leader as he sinks into the bowels of an abyss, and the record should clearly show how these traitors pissed and shit all over America.
Republicans can run, but they cannot hide from their absolute devotion and loyalty to George W. Bush. Every Democratic candidate had better be researching that Republican submission, and had better burn their Republican opponent with it.

12. Traitors always turn coat when the going gets tough |
|
True patriots never turn, no matter what -- they have no need to. They always put their country first, not themselves or their party.
The Repugs in power are dishonorable crooks. You're so right, they'll try to distance themselves from Bush**'s sinking ship, and there'll be no applause from me. I'll call them what they are and what they'll prove themselves to be by pandering for votes: TRAITORS TO AMERICA.

I find that line to be brilliant. I couldn't agree more and applaud your post in its entirety.

13. Not only will I never again trust a Republican... |
|
I'll never be decent and civilized to one again as long as I live. They are vile, ignorant and have proved themselves mean and corrupt to the core. Fuck all conservatives, I'm done -and that means Republicans who were elected with a (D) after their names too!

No sooner do they get elected do they revert to their loony right-wing ways.
