1. Shrubco retreat on Social Security "reform".
2. DeLay withdrawal from office/reelection campaign.
3. Libby indictment and withdrawal from WH.
What else?
Not interested in anything, like poll numbers, that doesn't translate into an observable gain. Fall elections are chickens that have not yet hatched.

4. No WMD found translates into things like bad poll numbers. If it led to |
|
an impeachment I'd consider that concrete, but I look at it in the same category as poor poll numbers.

11. Well if the Repubs lost congress due to no WMD then it would be a |
|
big concrete win. As it is, it's a huge potent element in the loss of support for Bush (probably the main thing that really started the ball rolling, then Crawford and Katrina sealed it) but it doesn't DIRECTLY translate into seats, but it could INDIRECTLY translate into a lot.
It's like Cheney's shooting spree, on a much larger scale... causes many to have a much lower opinion of the guy, but unless it lead to his arrest and resignation in disgrace, I'd consider it an "intangible" as far as results.
I guess we just disagree, no prob.

9. Duke, certainly, and Jack too since he was a big part of the Repub |

congressional money machine, and in addition appears to be leading to the downfall of multiple Repubs.

That whole story seems to have been buried. What's the reason for that? Wasn't too long ago that was a hot topic. It seems to have been replaced with the illegal immigrant/border security non-issue. Did the RWers manipulate the MSM again?
