MSNBC: Did faulty intelligence make the case for war?
The Bush administration has acknowledged that the intelligence was wrong about the war in Iraq and Saddam Hussein’s WMD program. A retired top CIA official has come forward and is pointing the finger at the White House.

Tyler Drumheller headed up the CIA’s convert operations in Europe until he retired last year. Before the war, Drumheller says that Saddam Hussein did not have a weapons of mass destruction program, and he tried to tell the White House. He claims the information was ignored.

2. A jaded media ignores CBS’ well-documented revelation...
The policy was set. The war in Iraq was coming and they were looking for intelligence to fit into the policy. They certainly took information that came from single sources on the yellowcake story and on several other stories with no corroboration at all.
