The Wall Street Syndrome ( The movie)
I couldn't sleep until I figure out the 35 year old republicans. I finally did! Everyone wants to be Bud Fox

Social consciousness does not exist for most of Americans. They have a sense of entitlement or worse yet what I now have coined the Wall Street ( the movie) syndrome. Charlie Sheen's (Bud Fox) character came from a great family BUT he wanted to be like Ivan Boesky ( Michael Douglas's character. )
Michael Douglas (Gordon Gekko): Lunch is for wimps.

Martin Sheen (Carl Fox): Stop going for the easy buck and start producing something with your life. Create, instead of living off the buying and selling of others.

Michael Douglas (Gekko): The richest one percent of this country owns half our country's wealth, five trillion dollars. One third of that comes from hard work, two thirds comes from inheritance, interest on interest accumulating to widows and idiot sons and what I do, stock and real estate speculation. It's bullshit. You got ninety percent of the American public out there with little or no net worth. I create nothing. I own.

Charlie Sheen (Bud Fox): How much is enough?
Michael Douglas (Gekko): It's not a question of enough, pal. It's a zero sum game, somebody wins, somebody loses. Money itself isn't lost or made, it's simply transferred from one perception to another.

Michael Douglas (Gekko): The point is ladies and gentlemen that greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right. Greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of it's forms - greed for life, for money, knowledge - has marked the upward surge of mankind and greed - you mark my words - will not only save Teldar Paper but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA. Thank you.
