4. Dick Cheney: did not serve. Several deferments, the last by marriage.
Cheney had FIVE deferments. When they changed the criteria to "defer only if a parent" (I believe after his 4th deferment) he had to pork his hog and pump out a rug rat to stay safe. A classic draft-dodger.

6. Al Franken didn't serve. He went to school. He talks about this in his new
book. He talks about those that served in his place. It's in the section about the "swiftboating" of John Kerry.

12. To be fair . . .
I think there are some genetic predispositions to certain ailments among Republicans.

1. Higher than normal incidence of anal cysts.
2. Higher than normal incidence of psychological pathology.
3. Higher than normal incidence of chronic privilege and entitlement, compounded by "other priorities" syndrome . . .

There could be more. Medical science is working on it as we speak.

14. Well, this settles it once and for all
Republicans are cowards.

Unless you count the women they beat up, the black people they leave to rot along the Gulf, the ten year olds they strip search, or the children whose testicles they crush in Iraq.

And Mr. ROTC Alito thinks its acceptable to stick broomsticks up retarded people's asses! Woohoo! Big hero there!

Guess when you know you are a lily-livered chickenshit, you have to abuse somebody to feel all manly and stuff.

16. He ruled against that poor guy cause his lawyer messed up some cites.
In other words, the mentally retarded man had a valid, legal cause of action, but because his lawyer didn't dot every i and cross every t in a brief to the court, Alito would have let the vicious bullies walk.

15. Add Neal Boortz to the chickenhawk pundits
he did not serve either. Some ailment or another. Maybe he had a boil on his ass too. He is a so-called libertarian out of Atlanta, who pretty much just parrots off the Repukes talking points.

Interesting thing about Rush is that his dad had the same boil problem, but still managed to serve in WWII.

23. Oh, I know Niel too well
I always spell his name wrong just in case it pisses him off.

Did you know that he is pro-choice? I used to produce his show. I'm curious as to what he thinks of ALito, but I'm sure he won't discuss abortion on the air now.
