What do you think about Democrats petitioning for Libertarian party line? |

I have been thinking about this. What do you think about Dems running for office in November petitioning for Libertarian party support? Are there any taboos that I should be aware of? Are Libertarians too ideological to work with Dems? I feel like the way our rights have been stripped and decayed over the last few years, Libertarians may be interested.

Especially if we can make a case of the abuses of the republicans. They seem to overperform they're registration in my area.

Who think things like minimum wage laws are an unwarranted tampering with the sanctity of the almighty market, I say go for it!

would want to get a candidate on the ballot that they agree with somewhat instead of none at all or worse.

Liberals (Democrats) are west, Conservatives (Republicans) are East, Libertarians are North and Socialists are South.
Libertarians embrace the social aspects of liberalism and the small government aspects of conservatism.
Given the current situation in DC I suspect that they would embrace anything that would unseat the current regime. 'Course they're a strange lot and one never knows . . .
I once had a discussion with one who thought all credit and paper money was fiat because the Constitution says "minting" of money meaning coins only. I finally asked him if we should pay for F-16 fighters with gold coin and if so would the 400 Ford F-150 pickup trucks it took to deliver the payment would be part of that payment. Discussion kinda' came to an end at that point.
