Yahoo put Bush's best moment (fish) in Odd News!
What an embarrasment. I'm sure the WH will spin it to say he thought the question was what was the best moment at your ranch.

Here's Yahoo's link... rateit up and email it so everyone coming to work tomorrow can see where Shrubs real priorities are

1. Oh yeah, it's because it was translated incorrectly. Wait for it....
From the article...

Because Bild could not immediately furnish English quotes, Bush's comments were translated from the German. The paper said the White House planned to release an authorised English version of the interview on Monday.

2. They can't pull that.
It more than likely was recorded. So there's no way they can say it was translated incorrectly.

4. Hmmm, I wonder what the "authorised English version" will look like.

You're so right, they can't change the content, but I'm convinced they will do some grammitical tweaking to add some kind of underlying context and then...

Spin It to all the RW repeaters....I personally can't wait to see the new and improved "Authorised" version tomorrow. :) MKJ

5. Well, what ELSE could he say his best moment was?
Edited on Sun May-07-06 12:47 PM by rocknation
Avoiding Cindy Sheehan? Restoring the economy? Warrantless domestic spying? Renditioning to European gulags? Taking a week to notice a hurricane? Inventing the signing statement? Fat Osama? The Abu Grahaib photos? Swiftboating Kerry and McCain? His restoration of Iraq, and building permanent bases and an embassy when he can't keep the lights on?

I know we all hate Bush, but be fair!

No surprise.
