General Michael Hayden Isn’t any Admiral James Greer. |
|
Adm. James Greer, “You took an oath, if you recall, when you first came to work for me. And I don't mean to the National Security Advisor of the United States, I mean to his boss... and I don't mean the President. You gave your word to his boss: you gave your word to the people of the United States. Your word is who you are.”
Of course that is fiction…but hasn’t Bush and the Republicans made a mockery of reality. Aren’t we really living in fantasy? Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have someone who felt a fealty to the constitution and the American people.

1. Is Gen. Hayden a member of the Knights of Malta ? |

Makes perfect sense if an aristocratic, authoritarianist, conservative Catholic gets control of 'total information awareness'.

And how similar this administration is to the one in the movie: A not-too-bright president who likes playing with his dog. Fraudulent wars... Life imitates art.

Thinking of how nice it would be to have someone with ethics thought of that line.
