Did Bev Harris ever file her tax documents on her 2004 fundraising?
Andy Stephenson told me that he thought the total would be about a million dollars, but I can find no record of her 501c3 filings.

Can anybody find this documentation?

Is there any way that not having filed this documentation by now would be legal?

this month for sure.

We'll see.

2. That is what, about 16 months after the period reported?
And did they ever send the IRS the money they withheld from Andy Stephenson's paycheck? He told me on his deathbed that he never got a W2 from them, and was never able to get them to answer his requests for a W2.

9. Seems to me that willful tax fraud is a crime?
Or did I miss something?

10. Let's laso and hog tie that nasty Crone!
I'd love to see her in jail...especially as a Federal Inmate for a long, long pretrial hold....They can be sent all over the country while waiting for trial...Have her housed in the sleaziest rat holes a County Jail can provide.

That's my wish......and desire to facilitate.

15. No, I want her treated fairly.
If there is legal reason why these documents have not been filed, then that is fine.

If there is not legal reason, I want her dealt with in precisely the same manner as anybody who commits the same infraction.

Fair is fair.

Even for a shallow harpy like Ms. Harris.

3. Better question...
Why is White Rose Society timing out when I attempt to access it? I want my Thom Hartmann fix.

11. According to guidestar.org, she hasn't filed a form 990
yet. But there are a lot of reasons why.

13. I copied this from guidestar.
from the link that directs you to reasons why an organization doesn't have its 990 posted.

. Why can't I find a 990 for the organization that interests me?
If there isn't a Form 990 and eDocs link in the right column of the report page, we don't have a Form 990 for that organization. There are several reasons why we might not have Forms 990 for an organization:
The organization is not required to file. (See question 6)
The organization is newly formed and has not filed yet.
The organization has not filed yet for the year. (See question 8)
The organization has filed but we haven't received the return from the IRS. (See question 10)
The organization is not a 501(c)(3) organization, and we haven't received its Form 990 from the IRS yet. (See question 11)

14. As I understand it, the latest they should have filed was October '05
Had they filed in October '05, I believe that the 990 should be on guidestar by now. But I'll be charitable and wait a couple more months.

16. Can't the IRS help?
If she hasn't filed yet they'd love to pinch her for penalties and interest.

Or maybe an FOIA request to the IRS? It's a non-profit after all... or is it? Seems to me she's lied about everything else so why not lie about the fact she could be doing all of this under-the-table.

17. It depends. If they got an extension, which non profits often do
it could be several more months before guidestar has it scanned into their database.

18. Even if Guidestar hasn't
scanned it, Bev is required by law to supply it as soon as it is filed to ANY who request it. There are at least two people on DU who have and are still waiting.

19. But, IIRC, many non profits
get more than one extension very often, so it may not have been filed.

I did check the IRS non profit 990 database and it isn't there.

And if Bev can put of judgement day, she will for as long as she can manage.
