Spanish Fluency?
Apparently, Asshole's command of the Spanish language is best summed up here:

Wrote Bumiller: "Various fluent Spanish speakers, depending on their political persuasion, describe Mr. Bush's Spanish as halting to conversational, but all give him high marks for trying. As the Spanish wire service Agencia EFE has noted, Mr. Bush speaks the language poorly 'but with great confidence.' Other Spanish speakers quibbled last year with Mr. Bush's pronunciation when he made the first radio address in Spanish by a United States president. They noted, for example, that he stumbled over the words administracion and nuestros intereses, or our interests."

I guess this makes Asshole the male version of another moron from Texas (by way of Montana):

1. The thing I've noted with native Spanish speakers
Is that overwhelmingly they're pleased as punch if you can speak even a little bit of their language. In markets in Mexico, vendors will pull out a stool for you to sit on so you can talk with them more, and after initial shock has worn off from hearing someone like me (extremely white - can't tan) talk Spanish, I've gotten free dinners at restaurants, etc. because of it.

I think it's a combination of taking it as a compliment to their culture that someone outside of it would learn the language as well as shock that it's an American doing it considering how many of them have their ugly American encounter stories.

Well, hell, he'd stumble over 'administration' in English, and choke on 'our interests'.

I guess that means he's incompetent in two languages.

3. ROFL!!! That pretty much sums up gw's entire life....
He does EVERYTHING "poorly 'but with great confidence.'"

What jackasses every single person who voted for him are. Except rich white straight amoral xtian men - they are admittedly well-served by having him in office.

4. Maybe Bush should learn to speak Spanish more instead of waging war.
It won't kill a lot of people; that's for sure.
