support for the death penalty continues to decline 1% per year, annual number of death sentencings is down 60% relative to 1999, support for gay marriage is up 8% in one year, and, in an abrupt 15%ish shift this summer, a majority identified with the pro-choice label for the first time this past year. The Creationists lost another round and had ID tossed out of public schools, so they're down to trying to dispute biological evolution on the terms of science.

Even nominal identification with Christianity is declining at a rate of a bit under 1% per year- and the people doing that are pretty much all white and grew up in 'Christian' homes in a 'Christian' society. This 'Christian Nation' thang is nearly dead in the North and two generations from death in the South.

We won't even get into the race aspect of this 'Culture War', but it's over too. (Stop wacking off to pics of Eva Longoria, you freepers.) I got sick of him and turned him off for about 15 minutes and then curious george got the best of me,,,flipped it back to insannity and he was saying the same damn thing again
