Any chance for a Gore/Roosevelt ticket in 2008?
Gore and Theodore Roosevelt IV are forming an "environmental" partnership. Does anyone know if TR IV has any political aspirations? What are his views on topics other than the environment? His name would certainly be recognized. What do y'all think?

5. Uh, TR the first was a Progressive
and a Republican before that. But TR gave us the Pure Food and Drug Act, and busted the trusts, so he's ok with me. I can't imagine his namesake being a neocon.

6. Is Theodore Roosevelt IV a Republican?

Am not sure he really would become a political candidate:

He is an environmentalist, but what's his party affiliation?

I think he's more of a mix between Republicans and Democrats.. at least he's donated to Kerry, so he's leaning towards Dems, plus he's the LCV honcho, so that puts a good notch in my book (as I'm also a LCV member).

Let's just say he's a very progressive Republican, or fiercely independent who'll be glad to shit on Republicans because the Republican of his great-grandfather certainly isn't the same as the Republicans of today, or moderate Democrat.

8. Hey, the Republicans of his grandfather's time
didn't really like him, either. In fact, the powers that be put him in as VP to shut him up and get rid of him. Only one of the old pols, Mark Hannah, I think, who said, "Don't you fools realize there is only one life between this madman and the Presidency?"
