This is why the Dems are not going for Impeachment now |
|
If they did, it would give the Repukes SOMETHING to slander them with. It would make 2006 a referendum on BUSH instead of on the Repukes that are trying to defend their House and Senate seats.
The Dems are playing it smart. Claim publically that they do not seek Impeachment, and the Repukes have NOTHING to take the heat off their horrible management of our country.
The Dems claiming they do not want impeachment.... are lying. And the Repukes are falling for it.
Go Dems! :patriot:

1. I am not in favor of impeachment anyway. |

All it would gain us is two years of Cheney as president. Hardly an improvement. Besides, wouldn't it be more fun to make the lame-duck phase of the Bush regime a living hell?

I want these bastards impeached to high hell (where they belong)...yup, let's keep the sorry state of affairs on the Repugs shoulders and let them self-implode to oblivion...they all have themselves to blame for their greed and corruption--so let's not make them forget it!!

5. This is what Jerry Springer was saying on Air America |

the other morning. The repukes will try to use this as an issue to unite their base. He should be impeached, but dems should not fall for the trap of making this a campaing issue? The way his poll numbers are now a lot of republicans probably would welcome impeachment. They tried to impeach Clinton over a blow job & * has done 100 times worse things.
