Imus and Doris Kearns Goodwin |
|
Basically doing a Rethug 69 on MSNBC this AM.
Don the Moran is saying that it was like falling in love (with *) and then finding out that they waren't all they seem to be (!!?!)
Now he's 'in love' with McCain.
she just laughs coquettishly when Imus says that Hillary's a monster and Kerry's a creep. She then describes incidents of being called a Commie-pinko, and thinks that's just too funny as well.
No wonder we're all Effed up...our so-called intellectuals are actually objectively dumber than the average schmuck in the street.

he's just a crabby old fart who is nowadays irrelevant; but someone must still be listening that that douchebag if he's still on the air

4. I can't stand listening to Goodwin.... |
|
and it's hard to believe anyone would call her a commie-pinko. Why do people think that woman is a liberal. I would never listen to or watch Imus, he is not in the least bit funny or entertaining.

5. Imus has political clout, guests include DC insiders ... |
|
supported Kerry publicly; has vast listening audience and, therefore, can make a difference.

I remember him broadcasting from the Atlantic City Boardwalk for a week or two every summer. used to rag on the people who would come to watch him 'perform' and piss them off.
Poor version of Don Rickles.
But he has great guests - he's just so creepy, a fact which is not lost on his staff, who poke at him mercilessly...almost. he still is responsible for their hiring and firing I'm sure.

10. Actually, Doris gave a good rundown of Shrub's pre-9/11 polls |
|
She said what we all know, that the polls pre-9/11 looked like the polls now, that people had seen back then that Shrub was not how he had run, that he had run as a uniter-not-a-divider&-"compassionate-conservative" but was seen not to be, that he was seen not to share the people's priorities such as health care -- "but then 9/11 happened".
