Are there any class action lawyers here? |
|
Regarding the lovely news that the NSA does, indeed, have a record of every call I've made from my land line:
I know there are restrictions on suing the government or government employees, though I'm not sure what they are, exactly. I was wondering, though, about the possibility of citizens suing either the individual agencies (such as the NSA) or the telephone companies for invasion of privacy or whatever charge might apply.

1. Class Action against telephone companies. |

The Quest story says Quest refused to turn over data for several reasons, one of which is that telephone can be fined if they turn over private data of customers.
Target here in my view is the telephone companies who turned over data.

No attorney in my area would touch it, but there must be one out there somewhere who would look into it.
