If the administration has nothing to hide, why fear investigations? |
|
By now, we've all heard the RW mantra on NSA spying: "Hey, I've got nothing to hide. They can listen in on my phone calls all they want to."
On the other hand, the new Rove mantra to try to drive RWers to the polls in November to keep the House and Senate from falling into democratic control is: "Hey, you better go vote republican, even if you think they have done a terrible job, because if you don't and democrats gain control, they are gonna investigate the administration!!!!" (horrors)
If they've got nothing to hide, why fear investigations?
That's my talking point for what its worth, turning the NSA spying RW talking point back on them.

1. Look how bad Clintons reputation is with all the investigations into |
|
nothing. Lots of people still think he's a major criminal because of all the investigations, even though they found nothing. Now we have a president whose done a LOT of "something". Any real investigation into anything * has done will result in impeachment.
