Simple question on domestic wiretapping for BushCo and their fans
Bush** just appeared on tv and said he is NOT tapping Americans illegally; that they are only interested in terrorist communications. This implies the scope of the call-data collection is far smaller than reported by the USA Today report, unless you believe there are tens of millions of terrorists in the US. It also implies the NSA knows the specific phone numbers of targeted individuals, which in turn means they have access to those customers' billing information.

Question: why the hell aren't they arresting these terror suspects? Why haven't we heard of the arrest of one single terror suspect in this country on the weight of wiretapping evidence??

2. KKKarl wouldn't let him throw Kerry's campaign in jail in Oct 04, that's
why no reports of any arrests made.

Sarcasm aside, you're exactly right. Shrub comes out and says "we haven't been attacked since 9/11" All I can think is pure dumb luck - if ShrubCo had actually caught a terrorist, it would have been 24/7 FAUX news for weeks.

5. It is pure dumb luck
Sorry to sound like Dobbs (for all of you who don't like him) but our borders are sieves, our ports are as insecure as they were before 9/11, and where have BushCo put their energies and our money? Into wiretapping! Wiretapping that hasn't produced a single terrorist arrest!! And we know that because such an arrest WOULD be trotted out by this administration every time the NSA question was raised as proof their wiretapping effort paid off.

3. Well, if DHS handles terrorism in the US anywhere near as
competently as they handled Katrina, there's your answer. They got nothin' but big mouths spewing lies.
