I've called Verizon twice already. I asked them to file a complaint and send it to the corporate office. I will discuss with my husband this evening the possibility of canceling some of our phone services.

9. I'd have to do business with BellSouth to get Quest and I use Vonage

I'm not feeding the Bellsouth monster anymore and my communications bill is lower while my services are greater than most people in my area... That super-fast comcast cable ain't too shabby either!

10. Qwest has lousy customer service.

I think they won't turn over their records because they don't know who would be responsible for doing that. Incompetent is the word that comes to mind with Qwest.
I was supposed to have HiDef tv hooked up yesterday. I waited at home all day for the tech but no one showed up. After 3 calls to Qwest to find out why I finally got a supervisor on the line to apologize and give me a $20 missed appointment credit on my bill. Now I have to wait at least another week to get an appointment to get things hooked up. But I got no explanation of why the tech never showed up in the first place. sheesh!

I live in St. Pete...don't know if there's another local phone option. I'd take it in a second. I have to have a landline, I can't just make do with a cell (reception is really poor inside my house)...

I don't have a cell phone. My land line is GCI. I don't know what relationship they have with AT&T. Anybody?
