Perle said, at the end of Franken..... |
|
..."oh, give me a break," in response to Franken's last second assertion that the relatives of those killed in in Iraq might dispute Perle's logic in what he provided as a consultant to the Pentagon.
I say to Richard Perle, oh, you'll get your break real soon, Asshole, real soon.

1. Why does Franken give these dicks any airtime? |
|
The RW dominates cable and radio as it is. Why have any of these assholes on his show?

5. I think Al got to Perle. He didn't attack him but he pointed out |
|
enough of his lies to make Perle accuse Al of being wrong in everything, or a polite way of trying to make Al the liar.
On the other shows Perle gets bobbing heads rubber stamping his statements. Al didn't so he did get to him. It was subtle, maybe too subtle for most people.

8. He did, but he did it in a polite and respectful way so |
|
many might have missed what was a heated exchange, but with low keyed voices and complete sentences.

16. Franken got better at the end |
|
when he actually had sound bites and quotes to refute Perle. At first, it seemed to me that Perle just flat out lied and Al had no citations to refute him. (Realize I'm at work and the interview was interrupted by several phone calls, so I couldn't give it my fullest attention.)

exchange. I hope he posts a transcript on his website.

9. not hard enough but then |
|
what do you with someone who just denies everything anyway? you let em talk...then do your research double check and nail it all to the wall on your next show...At least I hope so.

but I am very disappointed in Al Franken now that I have XM and listen to him almost everyday. I find his show boring 90% of the time and he doesn't sound like the brightest star in the Dem stable. Just my observations and sorry, but I feel it is okay to not be enthralled with every Democrat out there.

10. Franken is wryly amusing and perhaps too subtle for some... |
|
But he tends to make excellent points. You're right, he's no Morning Zoo, but he is educational and many of us like that.

I like Al...but then I like Stephanie too...its a mood thing sometimes you feel like a nut sometimes ya don't.
I could live without a few of Al's bits...the slide whistle, and the old lady charecter...He really is very informed though and enjoy regulars on the show.

Believe me, I like educational. Al just sometimes drones on and the show can be slow.
Now TH is another story. He's the most well-spoken and educated talk show host on the air. I wish AAR would give his show a regular weekday time slot. Unfortunately the show I would love to see his replace would not work because of the time difference. An EST morning show cannot be replaced with a PST show unless a taped version is aired.

11. Sometimes Al is amazingly funny, but sometimes |
|
he is just a little too much into his own trip, Like having his goofball Limbaugh-loving childhood buddy on regularly. Still, he can be very very funny and angry. So I have mixed feelings about Al, but still like him a lot.

15. I like Al because I like his guests and he is an excellent |
|
interviewer although low keyed. Yes, he does drone on sometimes and I find I have to get past that like I have to get past Randi's rudeness to many of her callers to sink my teeth into the meat presented on both their shows.
I'm not flaming but asking you to listen to him in a different way.

19. I hope not. If there is a god/dess out there, let |
|
him go down with the rest of the PNAC anti-American, anti-Constitution drones. IMHO, they should all be tried for treason. It will be hard to teach from behind bars.

22. I'd shut up if I were Richard Perle. He's not been too successful |
|
at anything but being a sneaky sleezoid. There was an article about Conrad Black and his downfall and even that scumball didn't have anything nice to say about old Richard.
