3. Oh, Bullshit!! They didn't read the piece then!
From what I understood, the author spoke the people from the phone companies. :eyes:

5. He (Cornyn) was mighty quick to backtrack and say that he was not SAYING
that, but the more Congresscritters who know about stuff, the more likely it will be to get leaked.

He was quite the weasel.

4. Apparently, he's on the "damage control" commitee...
Although he kept making reference to "terrorist surveillance" and hinted (wrongly) that this is about foreign calls, it's clear that this goes much further than that.

Like most Buxh bootlickers he's upset that evidence of illegalities by the admin was leaked out, not about the breakdown and elimination of our constitution. He finds himself sounding rather totalitarian, begging for a more secretive government.

I'd like to know how Cornyn would feel if it was John Kerry tapping the phones.
I bet his take would be a bit different in spite of his faux outrage for "election year partisanship".

7. Cornyn (ughgghhhhhHH!)
I have the same physical reaction to him as I do to Bush. This can't be good for my health. :puke:

8. Cornyn tried to state that Harmon was making this a partisan....
...issue, and it was clear to me that there was nothing partisan in Harmon's comments. Wolfie missed a golden opportunity to make Cornyn back-track on that particular comment.
