American Idol is the biggest piece of shit on TV since ALF, its entire premise is wrong because we've proven that damn near half the country is full of fucking morons with no taste - evidenced by Bush's vote count - but it makes no business sense for a competing station to cover it.

turn the channel at the bottom of the hour. Most of his last half-hour stuff seems a bit too tabloidish and forced humour-ish. But his Top Stories? Usually worth tuning in to.

But the #1 story on his show is the LEAST important, fluffiest one. It's the first story, the #5, that's the meat. And boy, did he go to town tonight on the phone spying thing.
