... crap that the republicans are doing is that they don't even CARE that they're being evil. They're not even TRYING to do the right thing.

Like in sports, you can live with a loss if you're satisfied that everyone was ACTUALLY TRYING their asses off to win. It's when you don't see the effort that the loss really sticks in your craw.

It's just so galling. They don't even TRY to do the right thing. What kind of people are republicans? Sheesh.

sigh.

1. The moral high ground they professed to be standing on has
washed out from under their feet faster than the levees did that protected NO. Shame on them for letting it get this far without taking a firm stand and opposing the boy king.

2. Good guys and bad guys... I just posted this in another thread...
If I had one wish, I'd wish that tomorrow morning, everyone in the world would wake up wearing cowboy hats that cannot be removed. Black for the bad guys and white for the good guys. There's just no other way to tell them apart!

Can you imagine all the evil people hiding their heads in shame?

3. They are doing it because they can. In the past 5 1/2 years, it has been
shown that there is no penalty, nothing to lose, from this behavior. and to me the media has quite alot of the blame - though those Americans who have blindedly supported this crap share that blame.

4. The electorate is always my main responsibility-bearer....
I don't blame snakes for biting - that's what snakes do. However, I DO blame the jackass who put the fucking snake in my fucking bed.

Ya know?

5. Yeah, like a high school sports team...
We're the adults, parents, coach... we care about our town, our school and our young people...

Only thing is, we've just found out that the whole student body, led by the team, has been holding regular gambling, drinking, wild sex and prostitute parties--but what's worse, is that they held those parties several times a week and only on days they'd also managed to steal cars, buy and sell drugs, destroy school property, vandalize city property and beat up/abuse minorites and poor people. To quote the student body president, "The laws doesn't apply to we students"--and he calls himself the 'deciderator' because he makes the decides.

Even so, the adults in town don't seem worried; they're convinced everything is mostly okay--their children are good kids, and could never be guilty. Indeed, they're more worried about whether the team makes district finals.
