Is looking at phone data a wise use?
A wise use of our intelligence gathering resources?
Especially in this fashion of so much data?

What smart terrorist, at this stage, is going to be making standard phone calls?

This stinks.

1. What good is a phone number without a name ??
They would have to have some more info about the number for it to be of any use, would they not? If I give a number 520-5220, what good is that? Unless you know it belongs to Mohammed Ata or to Howard Dean? A number by itself is useless.

3. No, but were you really expecting the Bushies to use resources wisely?

4. What have they done to truly combat "terrorism"?
Edited on Thu May-11-06 09:27 PM by Sinti
Have they hardened our ports? They're just thinking about that now. Have they hardened the security of our water supply? I don't think so. How about our food distribution network? Nuclear and chemical facilities? Nah. Heck, they don't even seem to be remotely interested in the causes of Arab terrorism, you know, addressing the disease that brings about this symptom (ignorance, deprivation, schools in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and elsewhere that teach holy hatred to poor kids that can't get any other education, no buy in to the "world order" from these zealots, etc). They're more interested in nuns and people of the PETA persuasion.
