'Darko' Director Investigated Over 'Terrorism Links'

Donnie Darko" director Richard Kelly could be forced to miss the Cannes Film Festival because his passport is being reviewed by the U.S. government.

Homeland Security is investigating 31-year-old Kelly, reportedly because there is a James Kelly on the terrorist watch list.

Fearing he will be unable to attend the premiere of his new movie, "Southland Tales," at Cannes later this month, Kelly has contacted a U.S. senator and has recruited his mother to hunt out documents to help him prove his American citizenship.

Is it just me or in the past year have I heard nothing but stories about Amercians that have been put on this list? And it's so secretive, you're forbidden from investigating just how you got on the list afterwards...So you're screwed.

Look, you go to the airport show your ID they run it against the watch list(s) data base, bingo! exact match found, now you wonder how did I get on that list? thats classified, but your on it, and you have no defense because the the methods used to put you on those list were illegal, and violated the constitution of the United States, therefore they will not tell you how you came to be on those list(s). but come a national disaster of any sort and your Id is matched again, well who knows what your destiny is, but I'll tell you this is the most corrupt and reckless bunch in power ever.
