My AT&T Phonebill
I will start to wipe my ass with the payment slip that I send in along with my check to AT&T.

1. It Goes To An Automatic Payment Processing Center - No One Will Notice
I'm all for sending them a message, but sending things to the payment center isn't it - it's a high-speed automated processing center, and anything that isn't a payment is ignored and discarded, no matter what it smells like.

Someone will notice.

6. Differ All You Want - You'll Be Wrong
Maybe a minimum-wage sorter will notice, and think it's another bill soiled by someone changing their infant, or pet mess - and it'll be tossed. No one in any position of authority will notice.

8. And to think that I thought that the outlay for the
shit-stained bill sorter would hurt the bottom line.

I'm proven wrong again.

2. I called up Bellsouth and asked for the policy on privacy rights.
The lady who answered the phone said "you are about the millionth person who asked me for that. Consider it in the mail."

I got the feeling that she is looking for a new job....

3. Metaphorically, I hope --
remember that the folks who handle your bill payment are just plain ol' working stiffs. Please don't take it out on them.

7. Nobody Cares About The Person On The Other End of the Line
That person answering the phone is always the cause of the problem, no matter what the problem is. If everybody wold stop and think for a moment, they'd realize that the employees' private calls are included in the ones being tracked and recorded, and they're pissed as hell about it too, but can't say anything about it while at work.
