I have confidence in this president
I have not in the last five years felt the degree of confidence in the president that I am feeling right now. It's like a warm, fuzzy glow in an otherwise cold, dark night. His daily bloopers, blunders, boners, boo-boos, bungles, confusion, delusions, errata, false moves, false steps, faux pas, flubs, gaffes, goofs, improprieties, lapses, misapplications, misapprehensions, miscalculations, misconceptions, misinterpretations, misjudgments, muddles, neglects, omissions, overestimations, oversights, slights, slips, slip-ups, snafus, trips, underestimation and misunderestimations...

Not to mention his every day malapropisms, quandries, scandals and completely misguided deciderations...

Fill me with the certainty, the absolute clarity, that tomorrow he will again do something stupid, and further prove to the American people that he is a complete idiot.

There's something reassuring about that.

 :toast:

Everybody sing!

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun!

Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!

When I'm stuck a day
That's gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And Say,
Oh!

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
'Til tomorrow
Come what may
Tomorrow! Tomorrow!
I love ya Tomorrow!
You're always
A day
A way!

Note: atrocities, crimes, injustices, offenses, wrongs, and wrongdoings temporarily, if only for a few hours tonight while I bask in the glory of the number *29*, I am ignoring.

1. Also guaranteed:
more innocent people dying- both American soldiers and Iraqi civilian men, women, and children, more threats of war directed at Iran, a further escalation of the New Cold War® with Moscow AND China, at least one new attempt to slight the U.N., and yet another Condi frownfest photo op.

4. I saw something new in his expression today
The swagger wasn't there, and there was a strange look.

Either it was fear, or a kind of thought like, "I have really, really, really, really got to make the tone convincing for this one!" He tried very very hard, and he almost looked innocent, like the little kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

I do think he's an excellent actor; that's why he got as far as he did.

6. I also noticed the haggard look he has. I wish him 48 hours
of gut wrenching diarrhea.

9. tunnel vision
He absolutely cannot see outside his own experience.

<snip>
He walked around giving handshakes and hugs to those who rose for his entrance, and greeted a man who remained sitting in a wheelchair with, "You look mighty comfortable."

All he cares about is the fact that the guy didn't stand for him. It doesn't seem to even occur to him to wonder why the guy uses a chair.

10. people would ponder things bush start, wondering about success
i never had qualms. consistantly all bush life he has been a failure at all things he has done. so regardless of any new plan, or strategy or anything bush attempted, i knew that too would be failure. he approaches things without through thought, without integrity, not honesty. that will always lead him to failure in all he does

winning the presidency is not success. he cheated. he lied, he stole, that isnt success, that is ultimate in failure
