Bush speech re: NSA Domestic Spying - you can tell he's lying
I just watched the clip on CNN of Bush making his little speech yesterday regarding the latest revelation that several big telecommunications companies turned over their records to the NSA.

As he was stating that this was legal, privacy was being protected, etc., you could see his eyes darting off to the right, very quickly, then back. He couldn't look directly into the camera. Then he licked his lips as he continued, and we all know that's a nervous reaction of his. Again, the eyes darted off to the right and he looked down while he was talking.

All signs of a lie being told.

George Bush must be Impeached - NOW - before he runs our country completely into the ground! He's planning to attack Iran, no doubt for his own personal gain, and he must be stopped. We must take America back from this evil man.

3. If his lips are moving
he's lying. That simple-he's a pathological liar, he couldn't tell the truth if his life depended on it. If he said the sun was rising in the East, I'd go look out the window to make sure.

9. Spotting liars
A brief guide to spotting lie-indicators

Fear indicators:

• Facial or palmar sweating

• Uneven breathing.

• Dry mouth and throat (lip-licking, frequent sipping of a drink, swallowing).

• Tongue tripping.

• Throat clearing and coughing.

• Blushing and turning pale.

• Fiddling with some object (doodling, fingering).

• Rigid body, stiff posture.

• Eyes darting about or strong blinking.

Camouflage or concealment indicators:

• Any signs attesting to mental planning processes;

• Stiff, expressionless face (an attempt to avoid giving facial expression to emotions);

• A smile that is out of place, too prolonged or that comes and goes suddenly;

• Concealment of the side of the mouth, nose-touching;

• Cleansing the sides of the mouth;

• Avoidance of eye contact, or the use of a hypnotic gaze, as if trying to demonstrate honesty.

Internal conflict indicators:

• Slight facial twitching, especially on one side of the mouth, or in the cheeks or eyelids;

• Intense blinking, the lifting of one eyebrow;

• Slight shoulder shaking, a sort of quick and minute shrug.

• Nose wrinkling, as when expressing disgust;

• Change of tone when speaking: the voice drops and becomes softer as the lie is uttered;

• Involuntary shaking of the hands, as if to be rid of the lie.

11. Wolfie was all gushy yesterday during the SitRom
He and the WH correspondent (don't recall which one) were turning verbal cartwheels of joy that Bush got out there an made a statement on this 'so quickly'. "Remarkable!" The he wanted to know who's fingerprints are on this. I swear he was expecting to hear Tony Snow; instead he got Josh Bolten. "Remarkable!"

Then Wolfie starts in on Paul Begalla with "But if it stops another attack like 9/11!" Begalla put it well when he said Bush has a credibility problem. He also made the point that AT&T wants to buy the internet lines. "There's a teaming up of Corporate America with Government. Don't you think if you wanted to buy those you'd partner up with the President and give him what he wants?" (paraphrased)

Matthews was doing pretty much the same thing..."But if it stops a 9/11 attack...!" He also wanted to know who should get kudos for getting the Pres out there so fast. :puke:

Oh, and yes, Bush was lying. The 'we are not mining or trolling' is patently false, IMO. Of course, they'll have to come out and "explain" his statement. That's another way to know he was lying.

14. noticed his facial expressions
when I saw it yesterday. His eyes were shifting and he looked down and blinked a lot during the key points (lies). All very obvious signs of dishonesty. Anyone with have a brain should have seen the clues.

Shifty beady eyed lying bastard.
