And even better, Ginny Brown -Waite responded in her usual evil bitch manner. Maybe Ginny should just "move on" out to pasture.

BROOKSVILLE — As an acute care nurse practitioner, John Russell says he sees the inefficiencies and shortcomings of the new Medicare Part D prescription drug program.
“It’s not very cost-effective when it comes to taking care of poor people,” Russell said Thursday morning as he stood in front of the Hernando County Courthouse. But worse than that, he said, “Part D was crafted to fill the financial coffers of the drug and insurance companies, not as a real and practical benefit to American seniors.”
Russell, one of three Democratic candidates for the District 5 seat of the U.S. House of Represent-atives, held a press conference a few yards away from the office window of the Republican incumbent, Rep. Ginny Brown-Waite.
Russell criticized Brown-Waite for casting a vote for Part D, which Russell called “fatally flawed” because seniors have no control over costs and availability of medications in their plan and cannot change plans for a year after they enroll.

Brown-Waite, in a statement released Thursday afternoon, pointed out that she supports the re-importation of prescription drugs from Canada, a position that put her at odds with the drug companies and with President George W. Bush.
“MoveOn.org needs to move on to a new issue, plain and simple,” she said. “My seniors are overwhelmingly happy with their Medicare prescription drug coverage, and if groups like MoveOn.org think it is worth their time and effort to picket my office, I’ll tell them to move on down the road and find somewhere else to waste their time.”
