I don't believe the ABC poll about Americans favoring the spying |
|
No way. No fucking way. Even freepers aren't that stupid. I've never heard anybody but a fucking moran say "Yeah, you can sneak around and spy on me, that's cool." NO FUCKING WAY. BushCo probably had an army of chimps repeatedly logging onto ABC's site and clicking "YES."
Which brings up another point...is this the ONLINE poll the teevee news is referring to? They sure don't talk about the source. Since when is an online poll considered to be anything more than an amusement? Hell, even a freeper could figure out how to rig an online poll! For that matter...even a CU member could!

1. I think it might have been taken too soon. |
|
I'll be much more impressed by some that are taken today or over the weekend.

4. It was a phone poll by the Washington Post ..... |
|
... it does not pass the smell test.
? Why with 71% of Americans opposed to bush would 60% + Americans support him?
Kinda like the election ..... Rove has ways to plant any story he wants in the press.

7. I don't believe it either. |

The talking point I hear on the news is that many of us don't mind. They think we're that stupid.

Their poll results went the other way -- most thought it was "creepy".

9. Sheep people, I tell ya: |
|
For next week's quote I put up:
"Relying on the government ot protect your privacy is like asking a peeping Tom to install your window blinds", John Perry Barlow
So this gal at work who thinks she's liberal about had a fit when she read that and asked if the boss had seen it.
Yes he did.
He didn't say anything?!
No, why should he. This has to do with current news and the NSA.
We're in the media business to protect our privacy and freedom of speech. Sheep people get out of my way.

16. Yep, that's crap that they are trying to pass for statistics |
|
Their faith-based polling is a supplement to their propaganda assault.
I have been watching the propaganda being catapulted all day on the subject, beginning with Washington Journal this morning. The air waves are being inundated with the WH talking points about the data mining, including that it is totally legal. :eyes:

13. I heard on the radio news that 2/3 of Americans think it's OK |
|
The NSA's phone data mining, that is. My first thought was, how could they know this just 24 hours after the story came out??
