Former president Clinton bests Bush in honesty poll
RAW STORY

A new poll being reported by CNN's Wolf Blitzer has found that more Americans rate impeached former President Bill Clinton to be honest than would say the same of current President George W. Bush, RAW STORY can report.

Clinton, who admitted to perjuring himself about an extramarital affair, was rated as honest and trustworthy by 46% of Americans. Bush, whose popularity continues to decline, was rated honest by just 41% of Americans. Clinton also bested Bush by much wider margins on overall favorability, the economy and national security.

Bush has also found his overall approval hitting a new low in recent polls, dipping for the first time to just 29%. Clinton left office still popular, having been censured by lawmakers as a result of impeachment procedings.

Earlier polls have found that many Americans who do not approve of Bush's job performance still rated him as honest and trustworthy.

5. Bush and his SSupporters has shown they will say any thing, do anything,
to gain more Power and to retain that Power.

That includes fooling/conning us Americans.

The People have looked at his Overall Record and found it to be Wanting/Lacking...

The Pubs who put the dude into office are now in a quandry...

Soon, as more Bush crap emerges, his numbers will diminish ever further. Crap is Crap and there is nothing he can say or do to reverse the trend.

Bush and his Pub Party is Toast....

7. You know...
Back before the 2004 elections I positited the thought that it might be a good thing for Bush to be re-elected. I thought that four more years of Bush might convince more Americans about how wrong the Republicans are. I wondered whether it would be better in the long run to let Bush screw up more and more...

I hope that this has woken more people up to the sheer WRONGNESS of republican policy.

11. Other than the embarassment of having to expose his tryst with Monica,
what other issue can anyone point to that shows Clinton's dishonesty? I know he could spin and parse with the best of them, but every President does that. His 46% is the product of a media that spent a decade cultivating that smear in the minds of Americans. Clinton was no saint, but neither am I and neither is any other person walking on this Earth. I closely followed Bill's Presidency and I never felt he had a character flaw that made him a compulsive liar. He had weaknesses, but he was as truthful as any President I have lived under.

George W. Bush, OTOH, is a serial liar and untrustworthy POS.

12. EXACTLY
the monica thing is so insignificant. Clinton ran the country brilliantly and should not be vilified for a flaw of no more importance than that.

15. If $10m year were spent investigating Bush - as Clinton was - his numbers
on everything would be lower than Clinton's.
