after training their replacements. Thousands of jobs have been outsourced. Know that when you get someone in the U.S. you have a 50-50 chance of being outraged at the awful service.

3. So, basically, we're screwed no matter what - Minor rant
The RW overwhelms the rest of us with real and imagined crises against which there is virtually no way to object rationally. We are always in reactive mode, and we see shrill and angry and anti- everything.

On the telecom front, we stick with Verizon (or Bell south, etc.) and count on them ignoring our pleas to stop giving our data to the USG. But the phones work, most of the time, we get Americans when we call customer service, and we fatten the wallets of the already entrenched republican base.

Or we move over to Qwest, save a few hundred dollars a year, but get to talk to foreigners when we call for customer service. To say nothing of adding to the administrative morass by getting multiple bills for multiple providers, making our lives more of a pain than they already are.

This government is so corrupt, so fascist in its orientation, so inept, that we are spending all of our energies in reactive, anti=mode. No time to frame a cohesive, coherent response.

So, sure, more than 60% of Americans disapprove of * and this corrupt administration, and yet in November the same 51% will vote for them, and election fraud will ensure that any glitches turn out in their favor.
