Concerned Alumni of Princeton, or, HITLER YOUTH
when young judge alito was an idealistic youth, he so hated blacks and women that he didn't even want them in the same building with him and his pals so he joined this happy little group...but now?...he can't remember ever hearing of such an elitist club.

now he joins the latest snob club, the supreme court of the u.s...and now he can start a new club, 'concerned supreme court judges' and we know where this all leads.

1. from newsday:
During questioning, Alito told the Senate Judiciary Committee that he couldn't recall the organization, the Concerned Alumni of Princeton. The conservative group argued that the Ivy League university had lowered its admission standards to accept women and minorities.

Alito said he was not actively involved in the group and repudiated several of its controversial statements about minorities, homosexuals and women. He said they did not reflect his beliefs.

Democratic Sen. Charles Schumer of New York suggested that perhaps Alito listed his membership in the group on a 1986 job application to attract the attention of conservatives in the Republican executive office who were doing the hiring.

"I was applying for a position in the Reagan administration and my answers were truthful statements," Alito said. "I was trying to outline the things that were relevant to obtaining a political position."

4. I wanted the reagan people to know that I was one of them
A racist, homophobe and a sexist. And I had the credentials to prove it. But everything changed after 9/11. It is terribly confusing though since what made me attractive to ronald reagan would certainly make me a hero to the gop and to bush's base today, so why the need to lie about who I really am. No wonder my wife cried.

8. You know this "can't recall" stuff is crap, no person who aspires to
judicial hierarchy is going to join an organization that one he knows nothing about and two not recall what he did while a member.

2. Oh yeah, mopaul
Hey, anyone can make a mistake-but you admit the mistake, and you don't brag about it when you're 35 and then "forget" even having been a member some 20 years later.

Any chance we'll ever find out if he was an active member, or will the repukes in power ignore Sen. Kennedy and just steam roll this nomination? If this happens, good bye Roe, good-bye any check on presidential powers, and very likely hello to concentration camps or worse for many of us.

3. What I've been wondering...
...is if Alito perjured himself. I watched bits and pieces of his confirmation hearing and he flatly denied being a founding member of CAP. I'm hoping bloggers or the MSM (ya right) are investigating whether or not this is indeed true.

No matter if Alito has perjured himself or not, no way should he be confirmed. And I'll state for the record right now that if ANY Dem caves and votes to confirm this racist pig, there will be hell to pay!!

6. You forget, perjury isn't a disqualification for a SC nominee.
At least, if you're a Republican nominee.
