Poll: Most Americans Support NSA's Efforts

A majority of Americans initially support a controversial National Security Agency program to collect information on telephone calls made in the United States in an effort to identify and investigate potential terrorist threats, according to a Washington Post-ABC News poll.

The new survey found that 63 percent of Americans said they found the NSA program to be an acceptable way to investigate terrorism, including 44 percent who strongly endorsed the effort. Another 35 percent said the program was unacceptable, which included 24 percent who strongly objected to it.

It was a few minutes ago, and I am on a Karl Rove Indictment high, so sorry if it is not too accurate - but that is the gist.

Sirota pointed out that those replying to the poll positively only did so because it was not stated that this was being done without legal justification.

DUMBASS LOU DOBBS responds to Sirota by saying something like, "In support of my colleagues at ABC, that was implicit in the poll." Implicit my ass Dobbs... you of all people should know what makes a legitimate poll and what is a stupid push poll. Don't insult my intelligence. You know damned well it was intended to get you that 66% that you are crowing about.

I screamed at the TV... at Dobbs. Sheez! This has got to be the most frustrating thing to see as they milk this lame-ass poll for all it's worth... which, except for what the Media Whores make of it,is abolutely NOTHING! :grr::mad::grr::mad:
