Has any other source verified truthout's reporting on Rove? |
|
No one else is reporting anything of the like...

3. No, but Rove is only a pit stop on the way to Cheney |
|
Just as Scooter was a pit stop on the way to Rove.
Fitz is climbing the ladder, and squeezing the players like overripe lemons on his way up.

9. Sorry, but that makes no sense... |

Libby was a pitstop on the way to Rove? Even though he got his marching orders directly from Cheney? Sorry but you are trying to force the situtation to fit your preconceived notion.
Now if you said Rove was a pitstop on the way to Bush like Libby is a pitstop on the way to Cheney, then I might see the logic.

He was a SPCASST to both the VP and the P. By your logic, then, Libby could just as easily be a pitstop on the way to Bush.
Look, we know who's running the country, and it ain't the Monkey. The guy calling all the shots, especially in terms of the domestic/political agenda, and that includes giving Rover (who also had two jobs--policy and politics) his marching orders to get the word out for political advantage, wasn't George, t'was Deadeye.
I've no doubt the Monkey had an idea what was going on, but he truly is the boy in the bubble...big ideas, few details. Monkey may be the decider, but Deadeye is the detailer. And he detailed this game, and used every swinging clown in the WH to do the job...including Rover.

8. They'll probably hold on to it until Monday. |

Unless it becomes prime fodder for the political talk shows in the morning.
But I also think that the press will wait to see which way the wind is blowing before they give it too much play.

I wouldn't hold my breath.
Leopold's been wrong before... unsourced articles make for good gossip fodder, but I'll wait until Fitz hands an indictment down before I crack open any champagne.
Won't get fooled again...

the United States of America (where propaganda is illegal to put out by the USA government)has the story - with the exception of those who quote Truthout & Leopold.
Curiouser and curiouser I would say.
