So, if you are a long-time law-breaker (been illegal for more than 5yrs.) |
|
you will be able to get the amnesty chance to become a citizen. But if you are recent law-breaker, you will be sent back. So the moral of the story is be a long-time law-breaker.

There are "longtime lawbreakers" that have been here since they were 3 and could be 25 now. These people don't know what the hell their "home" is like and can't possibly think about going back when they consider the US their home. If somebody has been "illegal" their entire life of living here, can you really blame them?
