Are these new commercials designed to make us more comfortable with what the NSA and ChoicePoint are doing with our data?
I posted this on another thread but I think it was presented wrong. This is Boeing's latest commercial and I caught it on MTP the Sunday morning.
http://www.boeing.com/companyoffices/aboutus/advertising It's the first option "Bigger Picture" - U.S. Ad 30 seconds
It begins by talking about "Today a soldier sees a snapshot of the terrain...The Commander, a view of the mission"
and everyone can wave the flag and feel good about the TROOPS.
But the next line SHOULD strike a very different cord with us now "But they're all part of a bigger picture. Thats why Boeing is helping create a remarkable network, to gather and analyze data FROM EVERY SOURCE, then deliver the right information instantly. So the bigger picture is a safer world..."
go back to all the NSA threads...read up about Choice Point...then think long and hard about those last few sentences. It doesn't seem like Boeing is saying what people may think they are saying... watch the commercial a couple times and really listen...
Then tell me about my tinfoil hat.
