Haiku Crimes and Misdemeanors

If a Turdblossom falls
In the Forest does any
One Hear it? PLOP

Full moon rises swift
Above the town, asleep now
Listening-- it's bugged!

Avoid impeachment
Put off taking out the trash
Something really stinks

One two three four five
One two three four five six seven
One two three four five

(Now you've done it! How can I resist Haiku?!)

"This Is CNN..."
Check, is this thing on?
Agent Mike, do you read me?
Blitzer ate Jack's bug!

Dobbs thought it was a
mint...placed it on Wolf's cruller!
Jack escapes again!

:7

ETA: 'Jack'=Jack Cafferty

BTW, I loved your third stanza! LOL! Someone take out that trash!!!

8. Its not yet trash day
House divided will
Not stand up for the Nation
Rots from inside out

Until we control
All future events-- NO DOUBT
Let's all do nothing
:sarcasm:

10. OUCH!!! LOL!
Here's one, from KKKarl's POV and dedicated to all the infighting here recently...

I orate, smiling
No one smells my fear. Luskin,
lying. End draws near.

I may go down soon...
I will not go quietly!
Leopold, you're next!

Look at them fighting!
Can I destroy one last man?
Giddy tasting blood!

Truth and light here soon,
My charade almost over.
Turdblossom goes plop. :7

3. its too early for haiku...OK I try
:)

Looking for heroes wherever they are
Why do we anxiously wait for Fitzmas?
Because it's so long overdue

The insulted people awaken
Stripped of their rights and bound
With legally applied leashes

BFEE crimes too large for restitution
For which they expect no correction
MIHOP happens everyday

4. It's pouring here this morning...please excuse the gloom
The Pretender Reigns
Un-checked by the den of thieves
Freedom's death knell rings

When will be enough is enough?
Over a hundred thousand
His hands are blood red

Wake America!
People open your dulled minds
You have the Power

Peace

14. "If a Turdblossom falls..." is from the finest zen tradition, no question.
The zen purist master might miss the Rove allusion ("Turdblossom"), but that's ok. We don't care what he thinks.

Give me that second one. I can visit the astral moon and the treacherous toys of fascism down below.

Nice, nice, nice.

THIS is a healthy and uplifting thread after all the you-know-what threads lately.

Refreshing as hell.

thank you.

15. Pull the shutters down
"I can visit the astral moon and the treacherous toys of fascism down below."

Pull the shutters down
on those prying satellites
Want everything clear

:::::::::::::::::::::

Make It Always Be Too Late
(Currie)

What I want is everything to clear
So let the clocks be wrong
Let the evening be longer let me drown in here
What I want gets clouded by the sun
I can't see beyond
The petty things that living here brings everyone.
So get lost with me, let the whole world wait
Make it always be too late

What I want is right before my eyes
So set me up a drink
Pull the shutters down on all those prying satellites
'Cos what I want is everything to be clear
So if you stop your watch
You might stop the morning's cruel hammer falling here

So get lost with me, let the whole world wait
Make it always be too late

17. Haiku!
Footsteps in the snow
Silent, but maybe deadly.
Dick, they're behind you.
