The numbers from the two districts where I worked the polls at today, in suburban Pittsburgh - and these are only from the touchscreen machines and do not include paper ballots are as follows:
Ward 4, District 1 For Senate - - - - Lt. Gov. Casey 70 - - - - Knoll 37 Sandals 3 - - - - Valerie Roberts 31 Pennachio 5
Ward 1, District 1
Casey 53 - - - - Knoll 32 Sandals 9 - - - - Roberts 28 Pennachio 3 - - - - -
I was working the polls for Dem. Congressional candidate Georgia Berner, running against former UPMC lobbyist, dem Altmeier. In these two districts, she led him 71 to 65. This is in Alleg. Cty., where Altmier got the party endorsement. There are 3 other counties, or parts thereof in the district.

5. Thanks so much. That site is GREAT! What's the deal in Pa |
|
when there are several candidates for the same seat and none get over 50%? Do they have a runoff or does the candidate with the majority win? Sorry, I lived there for 47 years, and can't remember a runoff ever, but maybe they just didn't happen close enough to where I lived.
