IMHO, the parties most intimately involved (including Will) might wish for an end to all the gossipping and preening before the mighty Pitt

I think you might wish for an end to it (as can be surmised from this post), but you don't really know what Will or Jason or T.O. want or feel and you're not speaking on their consented behalf right (though you may be right)? I just wanted to clarify because it almost came across as if you were speaking for them with express authority.

Maybe you do wish for an end to it. Many do. I'll readily admit I wish for an end to the drama of the last few days. We just all need to be patient, and wait for the truth to be known, which obviously isn't yet. In the meantime, I will stand by them and support them, because I feel that for me, they have earned that level of trust and respect.

But I'm sure the back and forth dialogue on the situation isn't going to stop in the meantime, regardless of request. Stories like this are too big to just not discuss.

But have faith in our fellow DU'ers that we can discuss it at our leisure and still work for change at the same time. We are capable of multitasking you know :)

5. I think it is good really

It helps people to let off steam AND it keeps the whole thing brewing (ie rove/plame/et al).

It sucks to be on the 'bad end' of things, but overall it continues to keep people sharp, talking about it, and weeding out issues we have internally.

Jason may be wrong, may be right, but in the end we all agree - fitzgerald should indict.
