Pentagon Video Courtesy of JUDICIAL WATCH Has Wingnut "Partner:" Townhall
Edited on Wed May-17-06 12:39 AM by Humor_In_Cuneiform

They have the above image on the left side of their actual home page. http://www.judicialwatch.org

Judicial Watch is the group that obtained the video of the Pentagon explosions and supposedly of the airplane involved.

Judicial watch is self-described as "conservative, non-partisan educational foundation..." .

Well take a look at the Who's Who of their good buddies Townhall:

http://www.townhall.com/

Townhall dot com is the nesting ground for some of the really stellar lying, attacking, hate mongers of the radical right wing.

1. Talk about anything that's gonna fire up conspiracy theories.
You can tell absoutely nothing from those videos.

Other than the apparent absence of an airplane.

2. I'm sure glad Charles Krauthammer and John Stossel
are watching over our judiciary, so I can sleep at night.

3. Yet Judicial Watch was the group that sued to make public Cheney's Energy
Task Force, and made it to the Supreme Court. They also backed 9/11 whistle blower, FBI Agent, Robert Wright.

5. My first supicion came in reading the beginning of their document
about the abortion pill and the Clinton administration.

Regardless of the veracity of that story, the tone of it was so blatantly anti choice, anti Pro-choice.

The second thing was seeing the Townhall dot com logo with no identification as an advertisement.

11. I think that they were also involved with the impeachment of Clinton.
Very weird group.

7. There you go
They're trying to be an "answer" to the ACLU, which they perceive as being "lefty".

Funny, you won't see any DU ads up at ACLU.org...

8. Hehe. Very funny. If you really look into the stories and headlines
it is SO NOT a right wing ACLU.

Looks like they mighta been real helpful to Ken Starr.

They have links showing that Abramoff only ever went to the White House twice since Dubya took office.

Didn't another group get info that showed he was there an average of every day?

They got attention drawn to the Cheney task force, but never got the actual information.

9. They got the maps for Cheney's Task Force
which, at the time, seemed pretty impressive.

10. What is the best way to stop a lawsuit?
Sue first.

It is simple really, you get some "public interest" group to file a lawsuit, say requesting the Energy Task Force notes. Then if anyone else tries to sue, the defence simply says they are already being sued and thus the courts should simply stop the other suit in favour of the suit already in progress.

Then you make sure your friendly "public interest" group does not win the case, either by them settling for less than what other groups actually wanted, or by throwing the case altogether. Either way, the fixed trial becomes precedent, and it is an even further uphill battle for any other group to sue for the same thing.
