Awwww!! CNN *hearts* Tony Snow!
That new press secretary is so adorable!! He's emotional, he's a human being, but he also knows how to laugh along, he lightens the mood!!

Kyra Phillips and Ed Henry were just going on and on about how fantastic Tony Snow is. Cute to boot!!!

He's the coolest! Best. Press. Secretary. Ever!! CNN sez so.

:puke:

17. And his fucking MUSKIE MOMENT
I for one will never forget how the GOP went after Ed Muskie over that 'moment.' It was brutal, disgraceful, and a harbinger of things to come. I hope Tony gets the exact same treatment, but for his job performance as a shill for that nest of vipers, that the distinguished Senator got...again and again.

19. A relative of mine worked for him. Couldn't say enough about
both he and his wife. Stellar human beings.

I found the reference that Snowjob made especially offensive, given his 'credentials.'

7. An unholy "tarbaby" coincidence
For some reason, recently, a formidable DUer had posted a rather long analogy about the current Bush crisis by using the full Uncle Remus tale.

I am sensing this is one of "those" coincidences that indicate that some of our wisdom is being passed around the RW koolaid water coolers. This is not the first time that a bizarre choice of words exactly matches things tossed around in the blogosphere by their enemies.

It can only drive you nuts of course. I compared the Bush agenda in the very early days to a return to a feudal system. Never got much response but Rush L. used the analogy to attack the left, of course, in a logically bizarre way. I wrote e-mails to news outlets during the 2000 campaign to try to personally get the reporters to consider how they might be selling out their country just to get access to the new President. The NEXT day Smirkboy on TV makes a snide joke about maybe taking away some reporter's access.

There have been more positive incidents of ideas moving along the food chain. You never know. But they either encourage you a bit or simply drive you nuts.

6. What bunk!
Still, she's the best little cheerleader for the BushBotBorg. Kyra and Wolfie could transfer to the FOX network without changing anything within their suck-up to power routine. Disgusting shill media whorishness by CNN. :puke:

BTW Kyra Phillips is looking harsh-er lately ... what's up with those zebra stripe highlights and hi-bleaching (vice low-lights) ... cumulating in the grossest burnt copper red color? Ewe! :P

11. Come on. Charm and sentimentality are more important
than content. "Good to see you again, Wolf." "Hey, how are you today, Kyra?" "Ha,Ha you sure are looking good today, Darin." Or some such nonsense.

Can you imagine Walter Cronkite talking like this?

I'm tired of these corporate shills attempting to dumb-down the viewer while pretending to be happy and polite. And I'm tired of being patronized.

21. Great destruction of Snow here
http://buffalobeast.com/98/snow.htm

With all his steely-eyed glares and vicious smiles, McClellan just made it look painful, and he never lost the palpable impression of someone who had been promoted to a job he didn’t want because his boss quit, and whose soul was being poisoned by his work. Plus he had the natural charm of a tarantula.

Snow, on the other hand, is a better choice by far. He has a camera-ready smile and his experience as a media shill makes him sympathetic to the press. This makes Fox News’ status as an extension of the White House official. But there’s one fact above all that makes Snow the perfect hire: He’s an idiot.

I don’t mean just that I disagree with Snow on most issues. What I’m saying is, he’s just really stupid.
